These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the KickR mobile application and related services hosted at https://links.kickr-app.com and related Firebase domains (the “Service”). The Service is provided by Konstantinos Michaelides, an individual operating as KickR (“I”, “me”, “my”), based in Cyprus.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Contact

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the higher minimum age required where you live) and able to enter a binding agreement. KickR is not for younger children.

3. The Service (what KickR is)

KickR is a coordination tool for football matches and related pitch bookings. Features may include lobbies, invite links (https://links.kickr-app.com/m/<id>), private matches, field browsing, optional Nearby distance sorting, push notifications, profile/venue photos, guest join requests, squad-fill deadlines, owner dashboards, and calendar blocks.

KickR does not guarantee that a match will be played, that players will attend, that a venue will honour a slot, or that any outcome on the pitch will be fair or safe. Those depend on users and venues.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping credentials secure. Guest (anonymous) sessions may have limited features. Provide accurate information where asked (including booking contact name and phone for certain bookings). Email/password accounts may require email verification before some actions.

Personal data is processed as described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

I may remove content, cancel bookings, or suspend/terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create safety or operational risk.

6. Matches, invites, visibility

Matches are generally created as private and joined via invite link or match id. Public discovery features may be limited or marked “coming soon” in the app. Anyone with a valid invite link may be able to open the lobby subject to in-app rules (spots, host approval for guest requests, cancelled/ended state).

7. Bookings, squad fill, cancellations

Some bookings stay provisional until squad-fill checkpoints are met. KickR may cancel a booking automatically if required player counts are not met by scheduled deadlines. A released slot may reopen for others only if kickoff is still at least two hours away (see in-app Help: Booking & squad rules). Paths differ for short-notice vs advance bookings.

Hosts may cancel subject to in-app timing rules. Field owners may cancel or block times (including phone / walk-in blocks). Leaving after confirmation in a late window may be recorded and may lead to account consequences described in the app.

Any money paid to venues or players outside KickR is between those parties unless the app expressly states otherwise.

8. Photos & reports

You must own or have rights to photos you upload. Photos may be visible to other users in relevant contexts. KickR may use automated safety scanning, remove or quarantine content, and act on reports.

9. Field owners

Owner applications may be reviewed. Owners must keep venue information and availability reasonably accurate and communicate about bookings. KickR is a software intermediary, not a party to the underlying pitch hire between owner and players, except where local law says otherwise.

10. Third-party services

The Service uses Google Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Storage, Functions, Messaging, Hosting), Google Sign-In, Maps/geocoding, and Cloud Vision where enabled. Third-party terms may also apply.

11. Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, I disclaim warranties and do not guarantee uninterrupted, timely, or error-free operation, successful bookings, or delivery of notifications.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, I am not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including loss of profits, data, or goodwill), or for disputes between players and venues, no-shows, injuries during matches, or venue policy enforcement.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Cypriot or mandatory EU consumer law.

13. Suspension, termination & deletion

You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion via account-deletion.html or the in-app Legal menu. I may suspend or terminate access for Terms violations or to protect users, venues, or the Service.

14. Changes

I may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after updates may mean acceptance where allowed by law. If you disagree, stop using the Service.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Cyprus. Courts of Nicosia, Cyprus, have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law gives you the right to sue elsewhere.

16. Contact

These Terms describe how KickR works today for transparency with users and store review. They are not a substitute for personalised legal advice.
